US TRANSPORT SERVICE
St. George, Utah
Jodi Stewman and Justin Davis, Co-Directors
Earlier this year, Co-Directors, Jodi Stewman and Justin Davis, founded US Transport Service in St. George, UT. The company operates “independently of any school or program,” and all agents receive training in “non-violent crisis intervention.” Agents receive 24-hour training in the basics of crisis de-escalation, anger management, suicide awareness and prevention, conflict resolution and non-restrictive physical restraints “when deemed absolutely necessary (if the client is at risk of hurting themselves or others).”
The agents come from various backgrounds including law enforcement, teachers, health professionals and other youth authority specializing in extreme behaviors and substance abuse. Agents have over 20 years of combined experience in the transport of youth at risk, and senior agents have more than 150 transports to their credit.
The company has transported children throughout the United States, Mexico, Jamaica, Canada and Costa Rica. US Transport provides service seven days a week, 24-hours a day, including a GPS system and a monitoring system that allows parents to track the transport via the internet or phone. “To alleviate any fears, agents will explain the program or school to the child during the trip.”
US Transport offers transports via commercial airlines, vehicle transport, and private charter flights for locations both in the United States and abroad.
On their website, US Transport has a page for educational consultants, listing Shalynn Budden of Klamath Falls, OR as an educational counselor.
