Happy New Year!

2014 was a fruitful and exciting year for us. We welcomed some wonderful individuals to our team, and have continued to grow and develop, adding more programming opportunities and expanding into new field areas. As we approach our 10th year of operation we are also reflecting on the milestones and important individuals who have contributed to our vision and helped us to grow into the program we are today.

Mike Balotti, our Director of Admissions, has been one of those important people whose warmth, humor, integrity, and creativity have helped to shape True North over the past six years. As the new year begins and we look ahead to what 2015 will bring, we anticipate more growth and exciting developments as well as change.

Mike will continue to be the friendly and helpful voice on the other end of the phone at True North until mid-summer 2015 when he will be leaving to pursue several life-long dreams. First he plans to spend some time heading out on an extended travel adventure, many of you already know of Mike's passion for travel and exploring different cultures and landscapes. When he returns from circling the globe, he will be taking the next step in his professional career and pursuing an exciting new venture.

Mike has been an invaluable and cherished member of our team and will forever hold a special place in our hearts and in the history of our program. We have been privileged to enjoy a personal and professional friendship with Mike for over 10 years and while we are sad to see him go, we are also thrilled for him as he follows his dreams and are looking forward to continuing to work with him for the next 10 years and beyond. Mike will be dearly missed by all of our staff and the hundreds of families for whom he has been a kind and caring guide. We already know, from his previous work as an educational consultant, that he is a dedicated and skilled professional in this field, and we hope you will all join us in celebrating him as he moves on to the next phase of his professional journey.

We look forward to announcing our new Admissions Director soon.

Warmly,
Mod Barefoot Maves and Ty Maves
