New Transitional Home In North Idaho

Timberline Private Care would like to introduce you to their special, unique placement option available for adolescent boys in the therapeutic world.

We are an exclusive licensed residential care facility in Northern Idaho offering a parented and non-institutional setting for growth. We are a bit of a unique blend of therapeutic and foster care. Working with a great selection of licensed counselors and a social worker as part of our team, boys enjoy a family life that allows them the room to be themselves and to avoid the pack mentality and negative social pressures of group homes.

We are licensed by the State of Idaho as a Residential Care Facility. We have undergone all inspections required by the state of any residential program as well as the health department. We work with a team of amazing therapists in an out of our home to provide our residents the utmost care in repairing their lives and relationships. We provide full educational support through mentoring, tutoring, and academic advising. Chief Administrator Richard Kallage maintains a teaching license and certification in the State of Idaho, and holds Masters degrees in Education and Global History.

We know from experience there is a huge demand for what we do. Parents we have worked with love what we do, to the point where two have actually underwritten the start-up costs of the venture itself!

We are licensed for boys age 14-18 and have the availability to take young men up to age 20 as well. While we have the capacity to host up to 6 young men, our enrollment is capped at 2 compatible residents to maintain the quality of care and attention they each need and deserve.

Tuition includes all tuition costs for public school and community college, clothing, recreation, occasional trips, routine medical/dental, and all other incidental costs, including a ski pass and equipment (as we are located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Resort) and other recreational and sporting equipment.

We started as a host family for a local therapeutic boarding school to help them deal with difficult students, and began receiving so many requests from parents to exclusively take over the work of care for their child that we eventually decided to go into business independently.

We are currently holding conference calls and visits with educational consultants and expanding our word-of-mouth network.
