Three Points Center, LLC announces that it plans to open a Residential Treatment Center for Adopted Adolescents in the very near future. Along with the Residential Facility, Three Points Center Ranch will also open to support the holistic approach of Three Point Center's treatment program. The Ranch, which will house animals used in the program like horses, goats, chickens and pigs, is intended to serve as a healing, therapeutic retreat for the students during their stay.

The facility will accommodate up to 40 male and 40 females students and is set up to support the center's unique comprehensive 360 degree approach to treatment. The facility has a full indoor basketball court and recreation areas in the large open courtyard for students to exercise and engage in program-specific games and activities. The facility has a large commercial-style kitchen and dining area where the students will have access to deliciously healthy and nutritious meals prepared by our in-house chef. The facility has the potential to employ up to 40 full-time and part-time employees when fully utilized.

According to Dr. Norm Thibault, Program Director and Executive Vice President, "This program, which has been 18 years in the making, is now on the cusp of being launched in our beautiful new treatment center in Utah, and I couldn't be more pleased."

Three Points Center is founded upon the belief that special situations deserve a specialized approach. Current studies indicate that 30 to 40% of the clients at adolescent residential treatment centers are adopted. However, when problems would arise with adopted adolescents that could no longer be dealt with at home, the only option these families had was a non-specialized "cookie cutter" approach at facilities geared to the general youth population. Despite numerous residential treatment centers for youth nationwide, not one has been designed and created specifically for helping adopted youth and their families…..until now.

Clinical Director Thane Palmer adds "Adoption is not just about the child, it's about the entire family. Because our end goal is always helping an adopted child heal from a troubled identity and feel whole, we customize a comprehensive 360-degree treatment plan for each program participant. This treatment combines clinical psychology with nurturing and balancing activities such as outdoor therapy, fitness, art, gardening, animal care and equine therapy.

Of course, we feel it's important that families are an integral part of the treatment plan too. So in addition to facilitating weekly contact with their children, we offer a network of expert adoption clinicians around the country to help parents better communicate with and truly understand their adopted children and the issues with which they each struggle."

The Owners, Managers and Employees of Three Points Center have developed treatment procedures designed to support the highest levels of quality care and we will work to exceed these standards, every day.

This facility and program will be taking inquiries for acceptance into the program beginning on September 22, 2014. If you would like to find out more about the program please contact Three Points Center at 435-632-7767 or by email at info@threepointscenter.com.

Listen to an interview as Dr. Thibault announces the eminent opening of Three Points Center in southern Utah for adopted teens. Designed to work with adopted teens and their families, ages 13-17, he explained how their program is unique in that they will be treating the whole family throughout the stay instead of just focusing on the child.

Three Points Center provides comprehensive, valuable and necessary services to adopted adolescents and their families for the primary purposes of healing wounds, understanding identity, and drawing closer, every day.
