Techie For Life is excited to announce the opening of our young adult vocational destination school in Southern Utah! Our school is tailored towards students who are neuro a-typical. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity for long term self-reliance and quality independent living. At TFL, we provide a college experience with added social and emotional guidance to give our students a distinct approach to college and learning. We provide a save and supportive vocational education in web and application design and coding, complete with internships, career search, and job placement maximization. There are currently and consistently 20-25k jobs in the it and computer software industry available within 300 miles of TFL, which provides endless opportunities for our students.

Our students want a college experience, an education, and a job- they want a life. We partner with these students who are capable and who need specific supports to thrive and maximize independence and self-reliance. We build a personalized approach to each students needs and implement a plan for their success socially, emotionally, educationally, and professionally.

Not all of our students are diagnosed, but those who are usually fall under the following diagnosis:
  • ASD Level 1 (including previously diagnosed Asperger's) and its commonly related issues such as anxiety or depression
  • Academic struggles due to organizational or other issues
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Non-Verbal Learning Disorder
  • Social Phobias/Immaturity
  • OCD or Tourette's tendencies
  • Some Developmental Disorders
  • 100 or higher IQ is typical, some score much higher in IQ but have related social anxiety or other setbacks
  • ODD related to social anxieties, including rigidity

We honor our student's strengths and help them overcome their weaknesses in order for them to live the life of independence they crave. Through our three phase one-year program, our students are able to overcome social, emotional, and developmental delays in order to live a more fulfilling life.
