Sustain recovery offers a unique approach to adolescent care. Unlike a typical residential treatment program in which the length of stay is 30-90 days, Sustain Recovery offers Gender Separate Extended Care treatment for clients recently completing a primary treatment program, or clients needing a longer-term solution. Our minimum length of stay is 90 days however many clients can be with Sustain Recovery for 6 months or more, but can vary based on our residents progress and individual needs.

Sustain Recovery was founded by Kyle Carter, Sayeh Seyedfathi, and Pam Bryan in late 2014. With experience working in residential treatment, Carter & Bryan met Seyedfathi who had extensive business experience and shared the vision of an extended care transitional program for teenagers in early recovery from substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. All three founders have been personally touched by recovery, either as a parent of a teen or personally as a teen themselves. Julie Foley, MS LMFT was brought on at the beginning of 2016 as Clinical Director and brought with her extensive clinical experience working with teens.

Our gender separate program offers a safe and structured environment for adolescents in which our residents are able to maintain a meaningful and fun substance free way of life. Individualized drug and alcohol counseling, support groups, individual therapy, family therapy, robust educational program, vocational training, life skills, and referrals and transportation services are ongoing elements of the transitional process. Sustain Recovery residences are twelve step based homes, and promote attendance of twelve step meetings by all of our residents.
