Initiative At Sunrise RTC

The launch of Sunrise's new, fully-featured website marks the completion of phase one of InnerChange's companywide continuous quality improvement initiative.

InnerChange, the family of clinically sophisticated treatment programs for girls, announced the launch of a new website for Sunrise (www.sunrisertc.com), its Hurricane, Utah, based residential treatment center. The website marks the completion of phase one of a companywide continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiative launched eighteen months ago by CEO David Michel. "This first phase of the project focused on highlighting and enhancing our best collective features as a company--clinical sophistication, depth of experience, and robust professional collaboration." To this end, phase one of InnerChange's CQI project included an increase in companywide peer review and collaboration; a content strategy that includes a professional journal and web-based articles for parents; increased tracking and publication of outcomes data; and sophisticated websites with useful content for referrers and parents.

"The new website is designed to provide useful treatment advice to professionals and parents," said Sunrise RTC Executive Director, Dave Prior, LMFT. "We're most excited, though, that the site clearly conveys what sets us apart. The in-town location of our secure facility allows us to offer both intensive treatment and full-service transitional aftercare." Sunrise's transition program includes community-based volunteering, internships, jobs and other progressive opportunities to test skills learned during treatment in real-life settings prior to discharge.

"The new website really conveys what I love most about this place," said Sunrise therapist Michele Petersen, LCSW, "the warmth and love of the people who work here."
