InnerChange is excited to announce that the full clinical team at Sunrise recently completed foundational training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) by Behavioral Tech. This advanced level of training provides each therapist with an array of skills necessary to effectively treat girls with mood disorders and Borderline Personality Disorder. Dr. Jack Hinman, Clinical Director at Sunrise, is foundationally trained in DBT and has been instrumental in facilitating the training process. "I am thrilled to be part of a team with this level of expertise", commented Dr. Hinman. "Having the entire clinical team trained in DBT allows us to work with girls with clinically complex issues by providing compassionate and evidenced-based treatment techniques to promote healthier lifestyles."

Located in Hurricane, Utah, Sunrise is a licensed residential treatment center and boarding school for adolescent girls ages 13 through 17 whose emotional or behavioral issues are interfering with their ability to succeed in school, at home or in a mainstream setting.
