Summit Prep's co-founder, Rick Johnson, has just finished writing a book entitled, An Upward Spiral - A Developmental Approach to Parenting Your Teen.
The book is written for parents, and explains what is going on developmentally for their teen. It allows parents to recognize that their child is not on a downward spiral, but instead is at the cusp of developing a new level of maturity.
Rick was encouraged to write the book after many parents over the years suggested he put in writing his Introductory Parent Workshop presentation. One parent commented, "I wish I had had this information earlier to better understand what was happening for my teen".
