Summit Prep is pleased to announce the welcome addition of Sara Smithson, LMSW to the Summit Prep clinical team. Sara received her LMSW in Social Work from the state of Georgia, her MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and a BA in English from Vassar College.
In addition to her work as a team therapist, Sara will also take the lead as experiential coordinator, due to her passion for experiential learning and outdoor education. Sara has been working with teens, young adults and adults for the past ten years primarily in therapeutic residential, wilderness therapy, outdoor experiential and community outpatient programs and settings.
In her spare time she likes enjoy the outdoors by backpacking, paddling and climbing. She also enjoys being creative through drawing and painting. Sara Smithton can be reached through email at: ssmithson@summitprepschool.org .
