Summit Achievement Announces Nichol Ernst as Executive Director and Anson McNulty as Operations Director

Summit Achievement, in its 19th year of offering innovative programming that integrates a residential milieu, traditional academic instruction and wilderness/adventure therapy, is proud to announce Nichol Ernst, LCSW, as Executive and Clinical Director. Nichol began as a Field Guide at Summit in 2003, subsequently serving as Therapist, and most recently as Clinical Director for the past five years. Nichol brings his clinical perspective and many years of invaluable experience at Summit to his new role. He will continue to carry a small caseload as working with students and families remains a passion of his.

Concurrently, Summit is excited to have Anson McNulty assume the role of Operations Director. Anson has been with Summit since 2002, progressing through the roles of Field Guide, Logistical Coordinator, Assistant Program Director, and most recently as Program Director for the last three years. In his newly expanded role, Anson will oversee the day-to-day operations of Summit Achievement and Traverse as well as mentoring and supporting the administrative and field staff.

Dr. Will White remains Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer with an active presence on campus and on Summit's Leadership Team. He also continues to work towards publishing his book on the history of Wilderness Therapy which he looks forward to sharing with the community.

Wediko Welcomes Mik Oyler as Director of the Wediko Summer Program

Wediko is pleased to welcome Mik Oyler, M.Ed., as the new Director of the Wediko Summer Program! Mik comes to Wediko with a passion for empowering youth, dedication to facilitating healthy staff culture, and a history of strengthening clinical programming.

Holding a Master of Education in Psychology from Springfield College, Mik has spent the past seven years with Summit Achievement - a premier wilderness treatment program located in the White Mountains of Maine. Having worn many hats at Summit, starting on the ground as a Field Guide and most recently serving as Executive Director, Mik has a deep understanding of short-term therapeutic residential programs.

Mik believes that fun is critical in treatment environments, and is excited to work with clinically complex students in the Wediko Summer Program's activity-based therapeutic milieu. Wediko is thrilled for Mik to join in Wediko's 80-year history of positively impacting the lives of children and families as only the fifth Director of the Wediko Summer Program.

Mik and his wife live in New Hampshire, where he is an avid birder and skier. He can be reached at moyler@wediko.org.

Together, Summit and Wediko both wish Nichol, Anson and Mik the best in their new roles!

Sincerely,

Shannon Higgins
