Summit Achievements' Clinical Director, Will White, and Therapists, Daryl Fraize and Nichol Ernst, attended a multi-day training at Harvard Medical School focused on Autism Spectrum Disorders. This training presented the latest research and treatment choices for adolescents and adults with Autism and Asperger Syndrome.
The Clinical Team participated in training including integrating behavioral and relational interventions, and interventions promoting interpersonal connections. This fits in very well with the work Summit has done for students with mild pervasive developmental disorders.

Will White commented, "During the past six years we have seen an increasing number of students with pervasive developmental disorders, including NLD. Integrating the entire community here at Summit to work effectively with these students has been a goal in order to provide an effective, emotionally safe treatment environment."
