Soltreks is pleased to announce current openings for its Summer Adventure Program… a Rites of Passage for adolescents. In its 15th season, the summer program fosters nurturing relationships with integrity and care while delivering a balance of physical and personal growth challenges. The single gender, small group treks are appropriate for adolescent's ages 13-17 who are underachieving, unmotivated, struggling with depression/anxiety, learning differences, family conflict or low self-esteem.

Students may enroll for four weeks; however average length of stay is six weeks. To earn high school credit (2.5), a minimum of six weeks enrollment is required. College credit is also an option. Tuition is $395/day.

The Summer Adventure Program integrates a strong family component with Parent Workshops, Sibling Workshops, end of trek Family Sessions and Graduation Ceremonies. Experience validates that when a family is engaged in their child's healing, the child's chance of a positive outcome and long-term success is greatly magnified.

Located in northern Minnesota, the Superior National Forest and the pristine Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness provide the setting for backpacking, rock climbing or a ropes course, service learning and a canoe expedition. Sessions begin June 11 for boys, and June 18 for girls, however early enrollment and a rolling admissions is an option.

Soltreks' solution focused approach empowers students in their own process and healing and remains an excellent choice for discovering one's true potential, building relationships and restoring health and wellness. For additional information or an online application, visit Soltreks website at www.soltreks.com or for admission inquiries call 218-834-4607.

Soltreks is truly a trek for the soul.
