Sober College launched their new tool last week, Telltale Signs of Drug Abuse. This tool is designed to help parents, friends and loved ones who suspect that their teen may be abusing drugs or alcohol. Designed like a quiz, with twelve yes or no questions, the Telltale Signs tool asks loved ones if their teen is exhibiting any of the common symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse, such as red eyes, changes in appearance and erratic behavior. After answering the questions, the tool tells users whether or not their loved one's physical and behavioral changes may be the result of a drug or alcohol problem, and if so, which types of drugs they may be using. Broken down into four categories (Alcohol, Marijuana, Opiates and Stimulants) parents and friends gain a better understanding of why their child or loved one's behavior has changed. Sober College hopes that this tool will give parents the insight they need to reach out to their child or seek help from a professional.

At Sober College we understand that identifying a drug problem in teens is difficult for most families, and hope that our Telltale Signs of Drug Abuse tool will help both the family and the young person in need.

For more information about the signs of teen drug abuse or Sober College contact our Admissions Department by phone at 877-635-7174 or by email at admissions@sobercollege.com.
