Scott Heaton At Silverado Boys Ranch

We are pleased to announce that Scott Heaton, L.M.F.T., has joined the team at Silverado Boys Ranch. Many of you may remember Scott from his days as a therapist and field instructor at Redcliff Ascent and Aspen Achievement Academy. In addition to wilderness experience, Scott has been a therapist at residential treatment facilities, youth crisis centers, foster care settings, juvenile detention centers and shelters.

Scott’s experience, passion, and commitment compliment Silverado’s core philosophy and belief in providing strong clinical support in a warm and nurturing atmosphere. The addition of Scott to our therapy team is a reflection of the strength, experience, and quality of the staff at SBR.

Scott has taken his experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist along with his personal experience as a parent of three children and developed a unique parenting program. Accountable Kids was founded in 2002 by Scott and his wife, Traci, and provides a framework to help parents and children develop accountability and responsibility within the home while creating strong and lasting family relationships.

Silverado Boys Ranch is an owner-operated licensed therapeutic boarding school for boys ages 13-17. We are committed to provide an empowering experience for boys, while guiding them to become respectful, responsible, and resilient young men. SBR utilizes a relationship-based model that integrates real world skills through experiential therapy, challenging academic curriculum, and student-parent-family workshops.
