November 01, 2010

October 31st 2010 marked the anniversary of Silverado's fourth year in business. We are honored and blessed to have been able to play a major role in the lives of so many incredible adolescents and their families. We would not be were we are without the support, confidence, and trust our families and referral sources place in us. We also need to thank our incredible Residential staff for keeping kid's safe and working their magic in so many different aspects of the program. Our Clinical staff has grown into one of the most respected in the country. We thank all of our employees for their hard work, professionalism and their sincere desire to heal and inspire families.

We have facilitated more than 300 enrollments since our inception. Nearly all of our parents tour the ranch prior to choosing Silverado Academy (SA). A large percentage of our students have successfully completed a wilderness program prior to enrollment at Silverado. We have a large parent alumni group that remains involved with prospective, new, and current families. Our alumni families provide support and encouragement for parents throughout the treatment process.

Silverado Academy is an owner-operated licensed therapeutic boarding school for adolescents ages 13-18. We offer a dual gender campus with gender specific programming. We are committed to provide an empowering experience for students, while guiding them to become respectful, responsible, and resilient young adults. Silverado utilizes a relationship-based model that integrates real world skills through experiential therapy, challenging academic curriculum, and student-parent-family workshops.
