Sharper Mind Centers is a program created to enhance mental performance and help families conquer ADD/ADHD and learning challenges, including dyslexia. They work with children who struggle to learn and often experience depression, anxiety, rebelliousness or other misbehaviors. These children, may show beginning signs of low self-esteem, anger, depression, frustration, all of which can result in under- or un-employment, alcoholism, drug addiction, criminal behavior, marital strife, abuse and divorce.
Sharper Mind Centers offers is a “very thorough evaluation that can answer many of your questions.” The evaluation includes a complete medical, educational and family history, and examins the child’s critical mental processes in order to determine his or her preferred mode of learning mode. It searches for the root cause of why your child is struggling by assessing areas such as self-esteem, reading, writing, graphics and attention span.
Sharper Mind Centers then utilize a “break-through program involving a series of physical and mental exercises that stimulate new brain cell growth and increases brain inter-connections. More than 90% of students who begin the Sharper Minds program while on medications such as Ritalin or Adderall are able to stop them within a few months.”
