We are delighted to announce the addition of Andrew Sidoli to the Shadow Mountain Recovery clinical team! In his capacity as Family Specialist, Andrew will provide an additional layer of therapeutic support to the comprehensive services already in place.
Andrew comes to SMR with over 20 years of experience in a variety of roles all aimed at helping people achieve lasting change and reach their potential. He received a BS from the University of New Mexico in Child Development and Family Studies and will receive his MSW from Highlands University in May 2012. Andrew is a Licensed Addiction Counselor, Acu-Detox Specialist and has close ties with the recovery community in New Mexico. Beyond his credentials, however, Andrew brings a plethora of expertise in fitness, outdoor activities, nutrition, spirituality and a passion for working with young people to his role at SMR. After living abroad and learning the nuances of different cultures, including four languages, Andrew has a depth and maturity that broadens his holistic approach to working with individuals.
Shadow Mountain Recoveryis a privately owned recovery school for young men (17-26) who are impacted by substance abuse or addiction. We teach the Twelve Steps within an activity based learning model with excellent academic and clinical resources to support success. Shadow Mountain Recovery is a small, student focused environment-a recovery school...because Life is in session!
