Second Nature Uintas

Taylor Plumb, Psy.D. joins Second Nature as our newest therapist for adolescent boys!

Taylor earned B.A. degrees in Psychology and Exercise Science from UC-Davis. He went on to accept a postbaccalaureate research position at the National Institute of Mental Health and finally earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on health psychology from Alliant International University in San Francisco.

Because of his years of employment at the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center, Taylor has specialized training in assessment and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and sleep disturbances. Additionally, he has extensive professional experience providing substance abuse and anger management treatment for adolescents, as well as working with their families. Taylor also holds adjunct faculty positions in the Counseling and Clinical Psychology departments at the University of Utah, and remains involved in research projects at the Salt Lake VA Medical Center.
