We are excited to announce Schrom Therapeutic Home Care for Boys has outgrown its current home and is moving to a beautiful Victorian style home situated on 28 acres. Built in 2002, our new home will provide us with 4000 square feet of living space and plenty of room to roam. Located at 222 Nighthawk Lane in Bonners Ferry, Schrom Therapeutic Home Care for Boys, specializes in 13- through 18-year-old male students whose self-limiting beliefs have impacted their success. Our therapeutic home provides services for students whose special needs require a small, intimate, family-style structure in order to grow and heal. Our transition to our new location will be completed by October 1, 2008.
We understand the need for a structured, yet loving, environment fostering hope, belief in self, and interdependence. Our intimate family-style setting provides a safe and supportive atmosphere and focuses on cultivating the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health of our students. Our focus is on teaching skills-so every moment becomes a moment to educate.
Our therapeutic home care champions our students, delivers professional clinical services, inspires academic achievement, and provides a milieu that is based on mutual cooperation, encouragement, and success.
Adolescence can be a difficult time, especially when there are special needs, trauma, or other compounding factors that interfere with growth and maturation. A large school setting can be intimidating and often lead to numerous placement failures.
Schrom Therapeutic Home Care for Boys will not be an environment for all students, but will focus on working with students who require a smaller home-like setting in order to safely explore personal development, experience academic success, enhance and strengthen social skills, bolster personal responsibility and accountability, and endorse family stabilization.
We look forward to speaking with you about our therapeutic home-care setting. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
John P. Schrom, LPC, LMFT
