Santiam Crossing, an Oregon based therapeutic boarding school, announces that Ryan Sturch has accepted the position of Executive Director. Sturch comes to Santiam Crossing with a background of therapeutic and private business expertise. His association with two prominent wilderness treatment programs, most recently Santiam's sister program, Catherine Freer Wilderness Program, combined with his success in private business management and the financial marketplace provides Santiam Crossing with a unique blend of management skills that will further solidify the quality of care the school provides.

Robert Cooley, Ph.D., one of the principle owners of the Santiam Crossing School, is pleased to welcome Sturch back to the Catherine Freer/Santiam Crossing family. "Ryan is enthusiastic, warm and has a great creative energy. His organizational and management skills will help us achieve our greatest potential in terms of education and quality care for the young people we serve at our Oregon campus," explains Cooley.

Sturch sees this opportunity as one that allows him to blend his many passions into one workplace. As an avid outdoorsman and advocate of families, he believes there is real magic that can happen on a campus such as Santiam Crossing. He explains, "With the great staff team in place at Santiam; the mix of therapy, academics, professional development and adventure; and its beautiful location in the foothills of Oregon's Cascade Mountains, there is no end to the possibilities at Santiam."
