Dale Parker Joins Sandhill

Linda Zimmerman, Executive Director of Sandhill Child Development Center in Los Lunas, New Mexico is pleased to announce that Dale Parker, M.A. has joined the Sandhill team as of June 15, 2012 as Deputy Executive Director. Dale brings over 16 years of clinical and executive management experience to his position. Prior to coming to Sandhill, Dale was the Administrator of Rancho Valmora in New Mexico, and an Assistant Administrator at The High Frontier in Texas. He has a wealth of knowledge in milieu management and Sandhill is very fortunate to be the beneficiary of his clinical and administrative expertise. Additionally, Dale has been able to participate in onsite trainings with Dr. Bruce Perry and is well-versed in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics.

Sandhill Child Development Center is a residential program for children between the ages of 5 and 14 who are experiencing significant difficulties functioning in their current home environments, schools, or communities due to an inability to regulate their emotional states. The goal is to create an environment that facilitates intense, gratifying personal relationships, while at the same time confronting those behaviors that interfere with establishing close personal bonds. Sandhill gives the child the tools necessary to proceed with healthy childhood development.
