Sandhill Child Development Center in Los Lunas, New Mexico is very pleased to announce the upcoming completion of a three-year certification program for the implementation of the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). Sandhill is the first NMT Partner Site to complete the full certification, and the announcement was featured in the most recent newsletter.

"We are so honored to have completed this process with Dr. Perry and The Child Trauma Academy (CTA). Sandhill looks forward to continuing to work diligently with CTA and Dr. Perry in training and consultation, and is very excited about helping the children and families we serve with this innovative approach.," said Linda Zimmerman, M.A., L.P.C.C., founder and CEO of Sandhill Child Development Center.

For the past three years, Sandhill has worked diligently with Dr. Bruce Perry and The Child Trauma Academy to fully integrate NMT into the treatment program. Please see the following link to the newsletter: http://myemail.constantcontact.com/

Sandhill Child Development Center is a residential program for children between the ages of 5 and 13 who are experiencing significant difficulties functioning in their current home environments, schools, or communities due to an inability to regulate their emotional states. The goal is to create an environment that facilitates intense, gratifying personal relationships, while at the same time confronting those behaviors that interfere with establishing close personal bonds. Sandhill gives the child the tools necessary to proceed with healthy childhood development.
