San Cristobal Welcomes Tucker
As Executive Director

We are pleased to announce that John Tucker has accepted the position of Executive Director at San Cristobal Treatment Center in Taos, NM. John holds a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from Denison University. He was a Field Supervisor and later Field Director at SUWS of Idaho and most recently served as Program Director at Wisdom Ranch School where he was also a founding partner.

John brings leadership and enthusiasm to San Cristobal Treatment Center as well as over 20 years of experience designing and implementing program services to young people. The staff and clients at San Cristobal have welcomed John's energy and vision. In addition to his role as director John will be conducting tours for referring professionals and will be attending both National IECA conferences as well as the national NATSAP conference. During the next six months John will also oversee several significant renovation projects as we improve and upgrade our facilities. There will be upgrades and add-ons to the cabins, the lodge, and the administrative offices.

When John is not managing San Cristobal he is spending time with his beautiful wife, Brandie and their 4-year-old daughter, Riley. John's passions include golf, mountain climbing, listening to the BeeGees, and The Ohio State Buckeyes, not necessarily in that order.

San Cristobal is a 90-day addiction recovery program for young men aged 18 - 26 that combines intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment with outdoor adventure.
