Fishburn Joins Team
As Clinical Director

Wilderness therapy program, SUWS of the Carolinas, is pleased to announce that Daniel Fishburn, LCSW, has joined the SUWS team as Clinical Director, effective April 24, 2014. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Mr. Fishburn brings a wealth of knowledge and practical skill to the already strong clinical department at SUWS of the Carolinas.

Formerly Clinical Director at Insight Intensive at Gold Lake, Mr. Fishburn comes to SUWS of the Carolinas excited "to be part of a program that is both grounded in the best that wilderness therapy has to offer, and is always seeking to enhance that strength with the most effective of evidence-based approaches."

Mr. Fishburn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Catholic University of America and his Master of Social Work from University of Houston, before working in a variety of community outreach programs and crisis response teams across the Southwest.

Mr. Fishburn will be responsible for managing a team of fully licensed therapists and overseeing their work within the four niche programs under the SUWS umbrella. SUWS of the Carolinas is looking forward to integrating Mr. Fishburn's expertise as a clinical team leader as they prepare for an undoubtedly busy summer season.
