Saving Teens In Crisis Collaborative has announced the expansion of its Educational Consultants Outreach Program, a volunteer corps of ambassadors who provide both insight and opportunity for increased awareness about the organization and its mission. Saving Teens was founded to help families of troubled teens struggling with substance abuse and other emotional issues gain access to services they could not otherwise afford. The Saving Teens methodology is unique in that it provides a long-term holistic approach which incorporates all of the professional disciplines - medical professionals, educational consultants, wilderness programs, boarding schools, and rehabilitation centers - to evaluate, place, and fund a child into an appropriate program. By leveraging the expertise and generosity of dedicated professionals, caring institutions, other charities, and altruistic individuals, Saving Teens guides children and their families towards a brighter future.
Among the organization's most valuable resources are the educational consultants who partner with them to increase awareness about the Saving Teens mission. Those whose passion for helping struggling families extends beyond their "professional" work, and have joined the outreach program, are finding very gratifying results from their efforts. "The educational consultants are a major factor in strengthening our organization through their participation in this program," says John Reuben, Founder of Saving Teens. "The programs and schools the consultants visit are very excited to learn about our organization, and often ask for specific information on how they can get involved. We are receiving outstanding feedback." John will be at the IECA Conference in Philadelphia on May 6 and 7, and will be sharing this message then.
