Kim Rubin and Cynthia Cohen are happy to announce that they have joined forces and are working together as associates at Rubin Cohen Educational Resources, based in New York City, yet will be working with and assisting clients across the U.S. and internationally. Kim and Cynthia will collaborate closely to help families find the best placements for children, adolescents and young adults, providing the same highly personalized and professional placement services that Rubin Educational Resources has provided for many years through its Santa Fe office.

Although Cynthia will remain based in New York City, she will be available to meet and work with clients throughout the country. Cynthia and Kim will work together to assure families that they are receiving the very best placement services.

Kim Rubin has been a leader in the field for many years and Cynthia Cohen is a highly skilled professional who has worked extensively in psychiatry and education. They share a strong belief that successful placement requires the consultant to first visit the school or program being considered and secondly to have thorough understanding of both the treatment model and the program staff. In particular, firsthand knowledge of teachers, therapists and staff is essential to a client's well being. Rubin Cohen will also continue the practice of monitoring all placements for a period of one year.

The Santa Fe office of Rubin Educational Resources will continue to provide college counseling, diagnostic evaluations, psychological evaluations and general educational consulting services and Rubin Cohen will also provide referrals for these services to all clients. All therapeutic and traditional placements will be handled directly by Cynthia and Kim through Rubin Cohen.
