Rogers Memorial Hospital will be hosting an all day seminar Friday, November 6th, 2009 and presented by Thomas J. Shiltz, LPC, CSAC, on: Treating Chemical Dependency: Matching Therapeutic Interventions with Readiness for Change.

Thomas J. Shiltz, LPC, CSAC, has more than 25 years of experience as a therapist, consultant, and presenter throughout North America. He is an ad hoc instructor for Cardinal Stritch University and a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders. His seminars and graduate courses cover a broad range of topics, including student assistance programs, chemical dependency, eating disorders, suicide prevention, trauma and self injury. Shiltz is known for his ability to offer practical strategies for assessing and treating many behavioral health disorders.

This workshop is ideal for social workers, licensed professional counselors and substance abuse counselors who work with individuals who have substance abuse disorders and is appropriate for beginning- and intermediate-level clinicians.
