River Centre Clinic
The River Centre Clinic works with adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age who are in need of treatment for eating disorders that include binge eating, vomiting, laxative abuse, diuretic abuse, as well as associated conditions such as depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, substance abuse and/or low self-esteem.
The Centre offers both an intensive day treatment and a residential program. The day- treatment is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH) as a partial hospitalization program. This “safe and comfortable” day treatment program offers a structured environment and a high level of intense, full range psychological treatment that patients attend 5 days a week, 7 hours each day.
The residential treatment program offers 24-hour, 7 days a week care, with a higher level of intense psychological treatment than the day program, and also provides complete nutritional rehabilitation. It is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH).
