Right Way In PA. To Move To 7 Arrows In FL.

Right Way Academy will no longer be operating in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania as of August 3, 2007. The program is moving to Tallahassee, Florida and will be known as Right Way Academy at 7 Arrows. The parent company of 7 Arrows, VisionQuest, has been in youth behavior therapy and educational programming for more than 30 years. Services, programming and education will continue at RWA 7 Arrows. Educational services will be provided through The Florida Virtual School and certified on-campus teachers. Clinical services are provided under the supervision of licensed clinical social workers and certified addictions counselors. Psychological and psychiatric services are contracted. Program costs remain the same.

To ensure a smooth transition all students will participate in a Quest which can be best described as a two-week learning experience. The Quest is designed to accelerate the relationship between staff and students. The male students will be on a Quest in Gulf Port, Mississippi, assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina. The female students will participate in an equine learning experience in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. During the Quest students will be introduced to the 7 Arrows philosophy, core values and behavioral expectations. At the conclusion of these Quests, students will be transported to RWA 7 Arrows in Tallahassee and continue educational and therapeutic programming in Tallahassee.

Charlie Powell has been affiliated with Vision Quest for many years and endorses its beliefs, mission and philosophies; Mr. Powell is of the opinion that RWA 7 Arrows is the best school for your child to attend. RWA Waynesburg educational staff will work with RWA 7 Arrows staff to ensure the proper transfer of your child's transcript, school credits and educational plan. It is anticipated that several key staff from RWA Waynesburg will transfer to RWA 7 Arrows as full time staff. These staff will help to provide consistency of relationships as well as continuity for your child's therapeutic and educational needs.

We realize that this announcement comes as quite a shock to you. All of us at Right way Academy believe that this plan to transfer your child to RWA 7 Arrows is not only the best plan it is a good plan. We wish you and your child all the best whatever decision you make in regards to their future. It has been an honor to work with every student here.
