The Willows at Red Oak Recovery is proud to announce the appointment of Lynn Wadsworth, MS, LPC, LCAS, as Clinical Director. Lynn has spent over 25 years working with adolescents, young adults, and their families. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings including therapeutic boarding school, juvenile corrections, non-profit, hospital inpatient, hospital emergency room psychiatric, intensive outpatient, private practice, wilderness treatment, and school-based programs. Lynn has served in leadership and management roles in many of these settings expressing, "Collectively, these programs and the individuals I have worked with have taught me about the human condition and how we, as mental health professionals, can best treat individuals and their families."

Lynn's training is grounded in relational models such as person-centered counseling, internal family systems, emotion-focused therapy, and attachment studies. "My journey as a clinician has led me to a strong belief in the healing power of relationship and I have learned to use my relationship with clients, colleagues, and others to provide the best possible environment for emotional and relational well-being."

Lynn joined the Red Oak team in October of 2014 and became a full time Family Therapist in December of that same year.

"Lynn is an incredibly dedicated clinician who brings passion and experience into her new position as Clinical Director, we are delighted to have her in this role", says Red Oak Recovery Chief Executive Officer, Jack Kline, MS, LPCS, LCAS, CCS, CTT-2, MAC.

Lynn brings a deep understanding and empathy for parents in crisis. "On a personal note, I have walked both sides of the healing journey as a young person who struggled and as the parent of a young person who struggled to find his way. My experience contributes to the deep empathy I feel for all of our clients and families."

Lynn's goal as clinical director of The Willows is "to provide support, clinical expertise and wisdom and a solid foundation for our clinical staff who provide the same for our clients." In addition, Lynn expressed, "I will also support the continued growth and development of our clinical team".
