Red Oak Recovery, an innovative addiction treatment program for young adults struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues, has announced that Kristin Brassfield has joined the team to lead Western Clinical Outreach. Kristin resides in Costa Mesa, California.

Kristin began her career in the behavioral healthcare industry nearly five years ago, a career change that was inspired by her passion for helping others. Kristin served in several roles including Admissions and Marketing Director at a well-regarded women's treatment center for women struggling with substance abuse disorders and co-occurring conditions. Kristin is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Associate (CADCA).

Red Oak Recovery is located in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains, just north of Asheville, NC, and is the result of extensive experience and research for developing highly effective programming to create a foundation of long-term recovery for young adults. The program uniquely blends adventure therapy, experiential therapy, trauma informed therapy, quality clinical care, 12-step work, and social skills development to create positive, lasting change.
