Q&A Family of Programs in West Virginia (Applewood Transitions for Young Women, The Journey WV for Young Men and Cabin Mountain Living Center) is pleased and proud to announce that Mark Shockley, MSW was recently promoted to Program Development and Social Services Manager.

Mark has been a member of our team for 3 years working as a mentor with the young ladies at Applewood Transitions while he was finishing his masters in Social Work. Mark's responsibilities will now include developing and directing our long term Cabin Mountain Program for ASD clients and those with other cognitive challenges. Mark will be helping to design and implement programming that will assist these young adults in achieving their highest level of independence and opportunities for growth. He will also be developing and overseeing a recovery program for those clients struggling with substance abuse issues. And lastly, Mark will serve to oversee case management of clients that may need supportive services in the community, acting as liaison and advocate for them in that process.

Q&A Associates was established to provide opportunities for failure to launch young adults to gain the confidence and skills needed to achieve independence. Our clients are often struggling with independent living skills, school or college life, finding or maintaining employment, social skills or family relationships. Through our program, clients build self-esteem and confidence while learning the hard life skills needed to achieve independence. We work with the whole family to teach new communication strategies that will allow the family to be healthier and happier.

Q&A Associates serves failure to launch young adults often struggling with independent living skills, school or college life, finding or maintaining employment, social skills or family relationships.
