On April 25, 2013, Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital and KSL Channel 5 News (NBC) teamed up to present "Suicide, the Silent Epidemic." KSL devoted the majority of its 10:00pm news to the discussion of youth suicide. Dr. Jeremy Cottle, CEO/Managing Director of Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital along with Dr. Derry Brinley, Psychiatrist, were featured on the show. KSL reported 80,000 TV viewers with 20,000 views occurring on KSL.com after the program was aired. Due to the positive response by viewers via Facebook, the show was then aired two additional times on Saturday and Sunday which generated and additional 19,000 viewers.
