We have exciting news to share with you. Starting January 21st, Promises Malibu opens its doors to a brand new drug addiction treatment program specifically designed to treat men (Gay, Straight and Bisexual), who suffer from stimulant drug addictions that co-occur with related patterns of sexual behavior. As such it will be the only drug addiction treatment program in the United States with a dedicated focus on the interplay and underlying (often shameful and hidden) concerns, in those men who combine GHB, Ketamine Crystal Meth and/or Cocaine with sex.

Robert Weiss, LCSW, CSAT-S, internationally renowned clinical expert and author, founding Director of The Sexual Recovery Institute (SRI), and Director of Intimacy and Sexual Disorders Programs for Elements Behavioral Health, developed this program in conjunction with David Sack, M.D., CEO of Elements Behavioral Health and Promises Treatment Centers.

The Stimulant and Sexual Disorders program at Promises Malibu is a gender separate, highly individualized, structured, manualized and accountability-based treatment model. This inclusive program utilizes a group-focused social learning model and as such these men will be provided separate housing, a dedicated treatment schedule, issue-specific clinical modalities, their own daily structure and a dedicated professional staff.
