Shayna Abraham Opens Educational Consulting Firm

Prepare To Bloom, LLC is open for business and now accepting new clients. This new consulting firm, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, assists families with selecting the most appropriate therapeutic and educational programs for the struggling teen or young adult in their life.

Prepare to Bloom was formed this year by Shayna Abraham, who has over a decade of experience in the industry. She is well known for her work with another reputable consulting firm based in California. Shayna brings a unique set of skills, knowledge, experience, and expertise to her new company. She holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology (with a specialty in Eating Disorders) from Lewis and Clark College, located in Portland, Oregon. She has completed additional course work in chemical dependency at California State University, East Bay. Prior to full time consulting, she worked therapeutically with a wide range of clients including adults, adolescents, children, and families. Shayna has worked with hundreds of families and successfully assisted in the placement of clients in academic and therapeutic settings.

Shayna understands that each family she works with has unique challenges. Her approach is to meet each family where they are and effectively guide and assist them in reaching their individually defined goals. Frequent, in person assessment and communication with schools and programs is an important and distinguishing factor at Prepare To Bloom. Shayna regularly travels nationally and internationally, maintaining her direct knowledge of schools and programs, allowing her to cultivate relationships directly with each of the professionals and programs she visits. These relationships and first-hand program knowledge, in conjunction with her in-depth understanding of diagnosis, assessment, and treatment, provides Shayna with a unique insight that enhances her ability to advocate for her clients while guiding the family through the entire treatment process.
