The Pasadena Villa Residential Psychiatric Services Team is Expanding!
Say Hello to the Newest Member of our Animal Therapy Staff: Lady is a rescued 12 year old Tennessee Walker. When she joined the Pasadena Villa team she was extremely malnourished. However, after some tender love and care she is fat and sassy now!
On Saturday, May 24, 2014, she gave birth to a beautiful filly that we have yet to name. Twinkle Toes, Sashay and Surprise are just a few possibilities being discussed by residents and staff. Recently our Animal Care team has started imprint training with the foal which is showing very positive results! For more video of Lady and her little one please visit and like Pasadena Villa's Facebook page.
And, we may be expecting yet another addition to our Animal Therapy Staff: Shadow's Kid! Shadow is a 5-year-old Nigerian dwarf goat who may be expecting! Goats usually carry 1 kid and the gestation period is at an average of 150 days. This is the first kid belonging to Shadow and her handsome 2 year old buck Bambi.
