Parent Coach Trainers Academy will offer the course "Coaching Parents of Struggling Teens and Young Adults" again beginning on October 6, 2014. This course will be offered from 5 to 7 Pacific Time and is conducted via teleconference, making it accessible to all interested students regardless of location. Space is limited to eight participants, and the interest level in this course has been high so we recommend enrolling by August 15.
Parent Coach Trainers Academy offers Professional Parent Coach Training designed primarily for individuals looking to enhance their professional skill base as well as those seeking to become a parent coach. The course "Coaching for Parents of Struggling Teens and Young Adults" provides 40 hours of dynamic instruction and practicum experience for participants, and focuses on developing competency in twelve foundational coaching skills. This course is approved by the International Coach Federation, and upon completion students will receive recognition as a Certified Parent Coach. Experienced and talented facilitators provide an interactive format in which students receive a great deal of practicum experience and feedback. Past and current participants include admissions directors, therapists, program directors, program mentors, educational consultants, life coaches, attorneys and clergy.
