Parent Coach Professionals is pleased to announce its acquisition of Parent Coach Trainers Academy (PCTA), an organization dedicated to offering professional coach training for individuals working with, or wishing to work with parents challenged with struggling teens and/or young adults. Vicki and Barb have been involved with Parent Coach Trainers Academy for many years, serving as course facilitators and contributing to the curriculum development, and plan to continue offering the high quality training program for which PCTA is known.
Parent Coach Trainers Academy offers Professional Parent Coach Training designed primarily for individuals looking to enhance their professional skill base as well as those seeking to become a parent coach. The course "Coaching for Parents of Struggling Teens and Young Adults" provides 40 hours of dynamic instruction and practicum experience for participants, and focuses on developing competency in twelve foundational coaching skills. This course is approved by the International Coach Federation, and upon completion students will receive recognition as a Certified Parent Coach. Experienced and talented facilitators provide an interactive format in which students receive a great deal of practicum experience and feedback. Past participants include program admissions directors and counselors, program directors, program mentors, therapists, educational consultants, life coaches, attorneys and clergy.
