Sarah Mack and Colleen Oshier Join Parent Coach Professionals

Parent Coach Professionals is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates, Colleen Oshier and Sarah Mack. As Parent Coach Professionals continues to grow and offer services to families in and out of programs, we have searched to find coaches that match our commitment to excellence, have training in the profession of coaching and have knowledge and experience in our unique industry. We have found the team we were looking for.

Colleen Oshier's 30 year career has been defined by her intuitive and compassionate work with groups and individuals. With a BS in vocational science and an SED teaching credential she began her career teaching children of all ages with behavioral/emotional disabilities and then worked with adolescents in psychiatric residential facilities. Colleen spent the following 15 years at a therapeutic boarding school for teens where she developed program, facilitated groups and workshops for both students and parents and supervised counselors. She became certified as a Nuero-Linquistic Programming Coach and Prevention Specialist. She brings years of facilitating, coaching and educating parents, is a Certified Facilitator of Parenting with Love and Logic and STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting).

Sarah Mack brings nineteen years of experience in the adolescent/young adult treatment industry to our practice. Most recently, Sarah has worked as a Parent Coach and the Director of Business Development for Skelton, Thomason and Associates, and continues to work as a co-facilitator for the Parent Coach Trainers Academy. Sarah served as the Director of Business Development for the Catherine Freer Wilderness Programs, where she worked for seventeen years. During her time there, she founded and directed the Oregon Transition Homes program, and was instrumental in the development of the Santiam Crossing School. Sarah is certified as a Parent Coach and graduated with honors from Linfield College with a degree in Psychology. Sarah is a trained mediator, and has advanced training in addiction treatment and family systems. Sarah was an active committee member for the National Association of Schools and Programs for many years and is passionate about this work.

Parent Coach Professionals has been serving families for over 25 years.

Our Coaches have a long, verifiable record of success and are experienced in working with various family configurations and dynamics. The team at Parent Coach Professionals can help assist families in shifting the crisis into an opportunity to build a powerful, healthy, life long relationship with their child. Parent Coach Professionals provide parent coaching to families who have children enrolled in therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness programs and young adults programs in order to assist with transition into the program, support throughout a student's stay, as well as the transition home.
