Jones Achieves Positive Psychology Coach Certification

Parent Coach Professionals is excited to announce that Vicki Jones, MS, PCC, has added Positive Psychology Coach Certification to her extensive list of certifications and trainings. Positive Psychology Coaching focuses on offering clients innovative interventions that are based on positive psychology research. The training was facilitated by Dr. Robert Biswas-Diemer and Jessica Austin. Vicki is entering her 12th year as a Certified Professional Coach and is a Professional Credentialed Coach with the International Coach Federation - having accumulated over 200 hours of coach training and logged over 2000 coaching hours in her coaching career. As part of her credential status, she is required to participate in continuing education units on an ongoing basis.

"I am excited to integrate the Positive Psychology Coaching tools and interventions with our parent clients. Positive psychology looks at what is right with people and focuses on them at their best, seeing their strengths while acknowledging their growth areas. So often our parent clients come to us with a focus on what they believe is wrong or lacking; this subtle shift supports forward movement in the family often allowing new positive solutions and perceptions to flourish," states Jones.

Vicki has over 25 years of experience guiding teens, young adults and adults toward self-discovery and personal empowerment. Vicki brings her wealth of personal and professional experience to the parents she coaches. She firmly believes that her clients need a safe place to slow down, explore alternatives, and to discover the path that is right for their family. She integrates the parent's natural learning styles, builds on their strengths, and collaborates with them to create success on their terms.
