Dr. Jason Adams Joins Pacific Quest Clinical Team

Pacific Quest is pleased to welcome the newest member of our clinical team; Jason Adams, PhD. Dr. Adams is a clinical psychologist with a broad background in therapy and psychological assessment in a variety of settings.

Dr. Adams received his B.A. in psychology from Arizona State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Barrett Honors College. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Brigham Young University after completing his pre-doctoral internship at the Community Reach Center in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. He has spent many years working in private practice, community mental health, residential and wilderness treatment. He has over 15,000 hours of face-to-face treatment experience with a broad spectrum of clientele over the last 10 years and has completed over 500 comprehensive psychological evaluations. Dr. Adams is well-versed in all major psychological assessment tools, as well as preferred modalities of treatment for the majority of psychological disorders and personal problems.

Throughout his career, he has specialized in counseling and assessment of adults, children, adolescents and families. He has worked extensively with families and adolescents exhibiting a host of emotional and behavioral problems, and has vast expertise in helping parents reestablish healthy relationships with their children and improve their consistency, discipline and love within the parent-child relationship. Dr. Adams also has the expertise and experience to provide psychological testing to help families understand and clarify questions regarding learning disabilities, emotional, and behavioral problems that have eluded diagnosis and effective treatment. Dr. Adams is also an accomplished presenter in various types of venues on topics of emotional distress, improving parent-teen relationships, and general positive psychology.

Dr. Adams is a member of the American Psychological Association. He speaks Spanish fluently and is a valuable addition to our Pacific Quest team. He loves the outdoors and enjoys running, hiking, camping, and spending time with his family.
