PaRC is the first treatment services organization in Texas and in the southern United States to receive the NAADAC 2010 Organizational Achievement Award. The award was announced at the National Conference on Addictive Disorders in Washington, D.C. on September 10th. This national award is given to the one facility that exemplifies a commitment to excellence in professional development and in addiction treatment programs. PaRC was awarded the honor after an extensive review of our unique professional development and fellowship programs and our overall treatment excellence.
PaRC offers training and experiential opportunities for physicians, nurses, counselors, social workers, and other credentialed behavioral health professionals. Medical residents in Psychiatry and Family Practice programs from two Houston medical schools, plus nursing students from three university programs, rotate through PaRC. We also offer an Addiction Medicine Fellowship just for physicians. Counselor Interns seeking various license credentials have an opportunity to work with multidisciplinary treatment teams across all levels of care.
PaRC has become one of the leading proponents of quality professional development, and earning NAADAC's 2010 Organization Achievement Award is a continued validation of our dedication to treatment excellence and innovation. Professionalism, competence, compassion, and just plain excellence is what the PaRC team constantly strives to deliver to you and your patients.
