Oxbow Academy Welcomes New Therapist

Tiffany Winder, CSW, has joined the clinical team at Oxbow Academy. Tiffany is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelors degree in Marriage, Family and Human Development and a Masters degree in Social Work.

Prior to joining Oxbow, she worked with teenaged girls in a residential treatment center and with trauma victims in an outpatient mental health setting.

Oxbow Academy is a sex-specific residential treatment center for adolescent males with sexual dependencies. Located in Wales, Utah, the program uses a strength-based holistic approach to meet students' therapeutic, academic and developmental needs.

Tiffany says it's exciting to work with a program devoted to sexual dependence issues.

"It's so pertinent to our time," she says. "So many teens struggle with sexual dependencies of one type or another. They need a place to address those issues without having to hide."

Along with Winder, clinical director Todd Spaulding and therapist Gregg Lott complete Oxbow's clinical team.
