Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, a wilderness-based therapeutic program for adolescents and young adults has been selected as one of Colorado's Companies to Watch (CCW). This annual award will be given when CCW hosts its Gala Celebration at Denver's Warwick Hotel June 25th, 2009.

Presented by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, this awards program is designed to select businesses from a wide range of industries throughout the state that make a substantial impact on Colorado's economy.

Among the 250-plus companies that were nominated this fall, Open Sky, located in Durango, Colorado has been recognized as one of 50 companies for its outstanding performance in the marketplace and its contribution to the state's economy.

Founded in 2006, Open Sky is privately owned and operated by members of the Open Sky leadership team. Open Sky is entering its third year and provides employment to more than 60 people. To date, Open Sky has successfully served more than 250 adolescents and young adults and their families from around the country.
