We are happy to announce that registration is now open for the 2013 Wilderness Therapy Symposium presented by OBHIC! To access a brochure with course descriptions and bios of this year's presenters and to register online please visit: https://www.obhic.com/symposium/

The 2013 Symposium will take place at the Millennium Hotel in Boulder, Colorado from September 5th-September 7th, 2013. Please note that we have shifted to a Thursday-Saturday schedule for this year. The Symposium will open with the Networking Reception followed by dinner and keynote lecture by Dr. Edward Hallowell.

Early-bird deadline to qualify for discounted Symposium rates is August 1st, 2013. The deadline to register for a hotel room at the Millennium in order to receive the group-rate discount on your hotel room is August 19th.

Discounts: We are offering discounted rates to all OBHIC members, students and seniors, and non-profit organizations. OBHIC members will receive a separate email with discount information and codes. Students and seniors can select the discount option when you complete your registration online. There is a Group Discount available for organizations registering four or more attendees. Non-profit organizations should contact us directly for additional information about discounts and to receive your discount code if you are a qualifying organization.

We are offering 5 preconference workshops this year on Thursday September 5th. In addition to four offsite workshops, we are pleased to offer a free onsite workshop presented by Mike Gass, Keith Russell and Lee Gillis. The focus of the presentation will be a comprehensive summary of the accumulated research surrounding wilderness therapy and will include a panel of the OBHRC research scientists. These presentations will be anchored by a keynote address by one of the leading legal minds in the profession, Reb Gregg, who will deliver a luncheon keynote address on, "What the Law says about Safety, Standards and Success."

Online registration is also open to reserve a display table for either the Thursday Networking Reception (4-6pm) or to reserve a table in the full-weekend Exhibition Hall. The Exhibition Hall registration fee includes 2 full Symposium attendee registrations. Display tables offer a key opportunity to promote your organization and to interact with Symposium participants.

We have a number of new ways to get involved as a Symposium Sponsor this year. Sponsorship support is fundamental to the Symposium's success and its ability to offer a rich variety of workshops while keeping registration fees accessible to a large audience. Please contact us for more information regarding sponsorship and associated benefits at info@wildernesstherapysymposium.org

We look forward to seeing you all in Boulder, and please feel free to email us with any questions you might have at info@wildernesstherapysymposium.org

Sincerely,
The OBHIC Wilderness Therapy Symposium Committee
