In preparation for the upcoming Annual Northwest Get Together, Woodbury Reports is extending a call for presentation proposals, to identify items of interest among the northwest population of private, parent-choice schools and programs.
The Northwest Get Together is sponsored by Woodbury Reports Inc., an independent educational consulting firm in Bonners Ferry. Lon Woodbury, MA, IECA, CEP, President of the firm and an Independent Educational Consultant, explained, "This event is designed to give the line staff of the 30 or more private programs in north Idaho, western Montana and eastern Washington an opportunity to meet colleagues in this neighborhood, and to share knowledge and information."
Of course people are welcome from throughout the country; many have attended the Get Together in the past and have contributed greatly to its success.
"The focus is to provide both information and entertainment to professionals and parents who work with struggling teens," continued Woodbury, "and the first step in that is to gather suggestions and ideas that would be timely and of major interest to the participants."
We have several ideas in queue already but would appreciate feedback from participants on topics that would be of interest to them.
"Past years have been very well attended and accepted with outstanding audience participation in demonstrations using native drumming, computer brain scanning and equine therapy" said Woodbury, "as well as many other topics of professional interest."
The sixth annual Northwest Get Together is planned for May 20, 2011 at the Naples Inn in Naples, Idaho. Registration forms will be available soon.
