The Fourth Annual Northwest Get Together, hosted by Woodbury Reports Inc., to be held in Naples, Idaho, Friday May 15, 2009 is approaching fast.

This year's presenters include:

Dr. Nick Hong, PhD, Clinical Supervisor at Montana Academy, who will discuss "The Montana Academy Model" and John McKinnon's new book "An Unchanged Mind".

Brandi Elliott, Marketing Director at Northwest Academy and co-owner of Powell and Elliott Collaborative, LLC, will discuss "Parents as Partners: the importance of bringing parents into the loop".

Randy Russell, owner of SouLore and InnerPathWorks, will speak on "The Value of Native Culture for 21st Century Teens" and will demonstrate native drumming.

Paul Clark, a former Montana legislator, Founder of Galena Ridge, and past member of the Montana Board of Private Alternative Adolescent Residential or Outdoor Programs (PAARP), after the formal session in the afternoon will conduct a fly fishing clinic and demonstration, for both helping those wanting to learn more about fly fishing and using it as a "tool" working with struggling teens.

The Woodbury Reports' Get-Together was started in 2006 to provide an opportunity for residents of the Inland Northwest and elsewhere to meet and learn from others working in or interested in the network of private, parent choice residential schools and programs in the Inland Northwest. To help with networking, ample time is allowed for networking between formal sessions.

Please mark your calendars for this special event. Advance RSPV or Registration would be very helpful for advance planning, but we will allow registration at the door.
