Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am excited to share with you that I'm beginning a new chapter in my professional life. My career has spanned more than 30 years working in therapeutic boarding schools. Many of those years have been at Northwest Academy. It has been an honor and privilege to hold the position of School Director at Northwest Academy. As I enter the next chapter of my career, I have decided to pass the School Director role off and concentrate my efforts on expanding our services to parents and alumni.

Please join me in welcoming Dusty Cash, MS, as Northwest Academy School Director. Dusty has been part of the Northwest Academy team for more than 10 years. During his tenure at Northwest Academy, he was recognized for his leadership ability and held the role of Team Leader and then Program Manager. Most recently, he held the position of Executive Director of our sister program Caribou Ridge Intervention. Here he created and implemented the curriculum; was instrumental in writing policy to obtain Idaho State licensure; and managed daily operations. He will continue to lead Caribou Ridge Intervention along with assuming the leadership of Northwest Academy. Dusty holds a master's of science degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology. His undergraduate degree is from Concordia University in Psychology, with an emphasis in Child and Family Development, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dusty and I share the vision of developing strategies that translate to the quality of service we provide to our students and their families. He has my backing, as well as, that of the leadership team as Northwest Academy continues in its mission to support older adolescents in graduating from high school, entering college and gaining skills for life-long success.

I deeply appreciate your support of Northwest Academy, and I know that without it, our opportunity to reach and serve families in need would be limited. I thank you for your continued referrals and belief in the work we do on behalf of our students. It has been my pleasure to work alongside all of you.

With warm regards,

Bruce Wilson
