Northwest Academy is pleased to announce that six students graduated in December. All of the graduates turned 18 while enrolled at the therapeutic boarding school and choose to stay and complete the program.
Collectively, these students brought their grade point average up from a 2.3 to a 3.1 and were accepted to 24 colleges and universities. In addition, they received more than $100,000 in scholarship dollars.
Northwest Academicspecializes in working with older adolescents' ages 16 to 18 years old. The academy's focus is on accelerated college-preparatory academics, post-secondary planning, clinical services and support, substance abuse treatment and character development. An appropriate candidate is an adolescent at-risk of not graduating high school due to mental health, behavioral and/or substance abuse issues. Northwest Academy is licensed by the State of Idaho and accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission.
